Talk to others about your stress and worries, and see how you can solve things. Focus on the positive. By talking about how you feel, you can help others too.

Anke, mother of Bas (4 years old) and Sander (8 years old):

I was very stressed because I was trying to do too many things by myself. I never told anyone I was struggling, so people kept asking me to do things. And I just couldn’t say no. Until it really got to me. Now I’m back at work, and I’m taking it easy. People know my struggles. At first I was really embarrassed, but people were so understanding that now I’m doing much better. And I’ve also noticed they pay more attention to how I feel.
