Tip 9: Be thankful for the little things

It’s normal to be thankful for the big things in life, for example being healthy and having great friends. But we often forget to be thankful for the little things, like a hug from our child, an afternoon at the petting farm or a great conversation with a friend. Anything will do, as long as it makes you happy. If you focus on the little things in life, you will automatically be happier and you’ll have a more positive outlook on life.


Every night, think of something you’re thankful for and write it down.

A few days in, you will notice there are many things you should be thankful for, even if it doesn’t always feel that way.
