Tip 6: Eat at set times

If you always eat at the same time, your child will learn not to snack throughout the day. Decide on set times for your meals and try to stick to them every day, for example breakfast – snack – lunch – snack – dinner.


Tell your child well ahead it is almost time to eat.

Is it almost time to eat and is your child playing? Tell them well in advance that their meal is almost ready to give them the time to stop playing.
