Tip 8: Relax your muscles

When you’re stressed, you subconsciously tense up many muscles. That can result in headaches, neck pain and back pain. Try to consciously relax your muscles to feel more at ease.

To do this, sit or lie down in a quiet place. It can help to first deliberately tense up and then relax a certain muscle. First relax your face and head, then your neck and then go all the way down to your legs and feet. This video will help you with this relaxation exercise.
