Tip 3: Give different vegetables at once

Did you know

children eat more vegetables if they can choose from different types on their plate?

But how do you serve more than one vegetable in an easy and cheap way? And of course without spending the whole day in the kitchen…

  1. Combine a cooked or baked vegetable with a raw one, for example cucumber, cherry tomatoes or carrot.
  2. Cook or bake two types of vegetables and store some for another day. You can serve them with different vegetables the next day, for example.

Examples of vegetables that go well together are:

  • Peas and carrots
  • Tomato, cucumber and lettuce
  • Bell pepper, courgette and aubergine
  • Broccoli and cauliflower
